Happy Hatch Day – 1 yr old Chickies

(this blog is posted by Mummy)

On April 3rd our 6 Babies turned 1-yr old!  We can not believe we have been blessed with these 6 amazing little creatures for 1 whole year already!  Of course, there was a party.

We had 6 bowls of bird seed (compliments of the Easter Bunny (from the chicken sitters across the street – I suspect)) pressed into coconut oil (a favorite).  I tried to light a candle, but it was very windy and kept blowing out.

Jasmine just couldn’t wait to get started – the little stinker!

6 Bowls, 6 Chickens and fun was had by all!  Happy Hatch Day my 1-yr olds! – love mummy and daddy.

  1. It’s my Appenzeller chickens birthday soon! I think you have inspired me to have a party too

    • I can’t take credit for the party, it was my wife’s idea. But it was cute. I like to think that I am not the crazy obsessed chicken person in the family. I am glad we didn’t invite the chickens from down the street.

    • The wife wrote this post, she called them little stinkers, not me. They are my ladies.
Does your comment mean that I am not black listed from your blog?? I saw you deleted my comment.

  2. Not blacklisted:) But my blog is a way for me to share my day or happenings. There is enough negativity in the world and in life without having to add to it. So I request only kindness please:)
